Scope of responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients is essential. Delivery Director serves as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
- Project Oversight: They oversee the execution of all projects within their portfolio. This includes setting project goals, timelines, and budgets, as well as monitoring progress to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Resource Management: Allocating resources effectively is crucial to meeting project deadlines and client expectations. This involves assigning the right team members to projects based on skills and availability, as well as managing any external vendors or subcontractors.
- Quality Assurance: Ensuring the quality of deliverables is a top priority. The Service Delivery Director establishes and maintains quality assurance processes to ensure that all work meets the company’s standards and client requirements.
- Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks is essential to project success. Delivery Director is responsible for assessing risks associated with projects and taking proactive measures to address them, whether it's adjusting project plans, allocating additional resources, or communicating with stakeholders.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitoring the performance of projects and teams is necessary for identifying areas of improvement and ensuring accountability. Delivery Director tracks key performance indicators (KPIs), prepares regular reports for internal and external stakeholders, and makes data-driven decisions to optimize service delivery.
- Process Improvement: Continuously improving service delivery processes is essential for staying competitive and meeting evolving client needs. The Service Delivery Director identifies opportunities for process optimization, implements best practices, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
- Change Management: In dynamic and always-changing environments it’s crucial to be able to comprehensively identify, plan, and implement change programs, projects, and initiatives.
- Team Leadership and Development: Leading and motivating teams is critical to achieving success. The Service Delivery Director provides leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project managers and other team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Strategic Planning: Developing and executing strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve organizational objectives is part of the role. The Service Delivery Director works closely with senior management to align service delivery strategies with overall company goals and market trends.
- Stakeholder Communication: Effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, senior management, and other relevant parties, is essential for ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the service delivery process.
Here’s a set of skills we require:
- Seniority: At least 10 years of professional experience and at least 2-3 years of experience strictly in a service company in IT in a similar position.
- Wide experience: Previous experience in various roles in at least 3 organizations in software development, product development, business development (keywords in professional history: software developer, QA specialist, product owner/manager, business analyst, delivery manager, service delivery manager, program manager, project manager, unit manager/lead, business manager, up to today's service delivery director, delivery director, program director, PMO director, unit director, etc.).
- Leadership: Experience in leading, growing and coaching specialists and managers (people who lead specialists) in e2e (from recruitment to offboarding).
- Customer relationship management: Proven ability to build customer relationships that led to collaborative development, up-selling, cross-selling.
- Discovery management: Proven ability to discover customer needs, solve customer problems and propose solutions.
- Change management: Proven ability to discover, plan, and comprehensively implement organizational changes in terms of structure, work systems, KPIs, tools.
- Project management: Proven ability to deliver complex projects in expected time and quality. Management of available talent, resources, tools, their continuous optimization and improvement of operational efficiency.
- Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of information technology, operating systems, databases, software architectures and IT industry trends.
- Languages: Full professional proficiency in English and Polish.
- Availability: Openness for business travels (20-30%) and readiness for work on-site 20-50% working time (Poznań).

Navigating the Hiring Process: What does the recruitment process for that position look like? 🍀
Delivery Director is one of our key recruitments. This is a huge responsibility! As a result, the recruitment process looks a little different. We also assume that it will take longer than other processes. We value your time and commitment. Therefore, all the steps for this position are listed below.
1. Send an application containing your resume and describe your experience in the form. You will find a list of questions related to your past career. This is necessary so that we can assess whether you are ready to take on such a challenging role.
2. HR Screening with Senior Recruitment Specialist - Emanuela Bodziewska. This stage will take about 45-60 minutes. A member of the recruiting team will explain to you the structure of our company and the specifics of this position. In addition, you can ask as many questions as you want to make sure we are the perfect place to work for you.
3. Record a short video in English. We will provide you with the questions we would like you to answer.
4. Interview with the current Delivery Director, Tomasz Liberski and the Owner of Espeo, Paweł Rogowicz. This stage will take about 90 minutes. We want to share with you the challenges of taking on this role and talk about your experience.
5. Interview with CEO, Przemyslaw Koper and Operations Director, Dawid Gałat. This stage will take about 90 minutes. We want to assess your business mindset and cultural fit with the organization.
6. Case study/task to assess your analytical and drawing skills necessary for this position.
7. Meeting in our office and presentation of the task. About 60 minutes.
8. This is the final step! We will ask you to provide 3 contacts who can give you recommendations.
