We’re looking for a Backend Developer who is interested in learning about blockchain technology and becoming a Blockchain Specialist. We are going to support this individual in the training and certification in the Hyperledger Fabric framework.
Backend/Blockchain Developer (freelance)
SKILLS: JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, NestJS, AWS

Scope of responsibilities:
- Developing solution supported by Blockchain experts,
- Working with a team of blockchain developers to develop blockchain-based decentralized applications,
- Designing and implementing major new features of an internal backend system,
- Maintaining the environments in which blockchain solutions can be implemented,
- Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability,
- Maintaining a continuous integration pipeline for the development and testing of applications,
- Helping with overall systems/data architecture development and integration issues,
- Participating in daily stand-up meetings; discussing your solutions and ideas with others,
- Turning your ideas into working software,
- Communicating with team members and clients (chat or video) on a daily basis.
Here’s a set of skills we require:
- Solid engineering background (JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, NestJS),
- Genuine interest in the blockchain technology
- You must be willing to do training and certification (Hyperledger Fabric Certified Practitioner),
- Worked in Linux Environment,
- Good knowledge in algorithms space,
- Base understanding of how to write good and clean code with basic patterns (SOLID, DRY, KISS, refactoring),
- Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git,
- Very good written and verbal communication skills in English (at least B2).
Nice to have:
- Have PoC experience with Blockchain and Smart Contracts (e.g. Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric),
- Knowledge of other backend languages eg. Golang, Go, Java,
- AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
- Familiar with a mandatory code review process.

3. Technical Interview - In this stage, you will participate in a video interview with one of our Backend Developers (Marcin or Wojtek). During the interview, we will delve into your experience, skills, and qualifications related to the position. This stage will take about 60 minutes.
4. Interview with Consulting Director - You will also have the opportunity to meet with Dominik, member of our Executive Team who is responsible for developing the Blockchain area in Espeo Software. This stage will take about 30 minutes.
