ACCOUNT MANAGER

LOCATION: Poland, Poznań - min. 1 day a week in the office

B2B PLN 13 400 - 16 800 / month 💰

*We offer a hybrid cooperation model, allowing you to balance office presence with remote cooperation. However, it's important to note that the role emphasizes a stronger presence in the office to foster teamwork and effective communication.

Scope of services:

Account Management:

  • Manage the day-to-day relationship and commercial side of your client accounts.

  • Own contracts, renewals, rate reviews and staffing changes.

  • Make sure onboarding, offboarding, timesheets and invoicing run smoothly.

  • Keep track of key commercial terms, people, dates and open issues.

  • Communicate risks and problems early so clients are never surprised.

Account Growth:

  • Build strong relationships with clients and understand their business, roadmap and priorities.

  • Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and increase the value we deliver.

  • Help clients move from individual engineers towards managed teams and project-based work.

  • Identify and sell new projects or deliverables within existing accounts.

  • Introduce relevant Espeo capabilities, including AI-augmented software delivery.

  • Run regular business reviews and proactively plan account growth.

  • Bring relevant industry and market insights to client conversations.

Working inside Espeo:

  • Work closely with Delivery Managers to combine strong client relationships with successful delivery.

  • Involve Espeo's engineering and consulting experts in client conversations when needed.

  • Keep track of account margin, capacity and commercial risks.

  • Share client insights internally and help improve how we manage and grow our accounts.

Here’s a set of skills we require:

Essential:

  • Proven experience managing team augmentation, managed team or staff-augmentation accounts within a software consultancy or similar services business.

  • Strong understanding of the commercial mechanics of services businesses, including utilisation, bench, notice periods, rate structures and account profitability.

  • Confidence in pricing extensions, leading rate negotiations and defending commercial positions.

  • Ability to build credibility with Engineering Managers, Heads of Engineering and CTOs and discuss technical topics in terms of business impact.

  • Strong operational discipline and attention to detail, particularly around contracts, dates, staffing and financial information.

  • Excellent professional English at client-conversation level.

  • Polish language skills for internal collaboration.

Valuable:

  • Experience in fintech, payments or digital banking.

  • Experience transitioning accounts from staffing-based engagements to project or outcome-based work.

  • Exposure to AI-augmented software delivery.

  • Previous delivery or project management experience.

This role is not:

  • A coordination role - you are expected to actively grow and develop accounts, not simply administer them.

  • A new business role - there is no new-logo quota; your existing accounts are your territory.

  • A pure sales role - you will build long-term client relationships and remain accountable for whether delivery and business outcomes improve.
